Indian Ginger Chicken Recipe is a popular recipe especially in fast food places today in India and abroad. Ginger chicken orignally comes from chinese cuisine and we have modified to Indian taste with our ingredients. This is a great side dish for bread, chappatis, noodles, white rice, biryani, fried rice, lime rice and tomato rice.

STEP BY STEP METHOD

Cut the chicken into small pieces(boneless is better) and marinate it with yogurt, turmeric powder,1 tsp. of ginger/garlic paste and salt and leave it for two hours |

Cut onions, fine slices(grated) of ginger, garlic and green chili into small pieces

Pour oil in a frying pan

Add onions and fry till golden brown |

Add the marinated chicken. Add 1 cup of water and add corn flour, 3/4 of grated ginger, garlic and green chili. Fry in low heat mixing it often |

Add the bell peppers medium sliced. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Sprinkle 1/4 of remaining grated ginger and serve it hot |
