TAMIL CHILI CHICKEN
Indian CHILI CHICKEN Indian Chili Chicken Recipe is a popular recipe espcially in fast food places today in India and abroad. Chili chicken orignally comes from chinese cuisine and we have modified it. This is a great side dish for bread, chappatis, noodles, white rice, briyani, fried rice, lime rice and tomato rice.

INGREDIENTS (Serves 4)
Time: marinate 8 hours, frying 30 minutes -

Chicken 1 lb
Onions 1
Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
Ginger 1 small piece
Garlic 6 cloves
Green chili 8 small
Chili Powder 1 tsp
Yogurt/curd 1/2 cup
corn flour 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

STEP BY STEP METHOD

Method
1 Cut the chicken into small pieces(bone less is better) and marinate it with Yogurt, Chili powder, turmeric powder and salt and leave it for two hours
2 Cut onions, ginger, garlic and green chili into small pieces
3 Pour oil in a frying pan
4 Add onions and fry till light brown
5 Add the marinated chicken. Add 1 cup of water and add corn flour, ginger, garlic and green chili. Fry in low heat mixing it often
6 Here you can add coloring like kesari powder for red color if you like(chili chicken look red)
7 Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 5 mts on low heat. Serve it hot with any food
