Wash Keerai well. There is a good chance of dirt or mud in the roots, Cut them into small bits

In a large frying pan season with oil, mustard and urid dal. Add onion(diced), red chili and garlic. Fry them well |

Add the Keerai now and mix it well. Let it fry till Keerai is about 3/4 cooked. Don't let it over cook, it will lose its tender taste. Now add the coconut flakes and turn off the heat after one minute. Serve hot as a side dish |
